I started this year with the initial goal of reading 12 books in 2005. Mostly because I realized that ever since I went to college, I hardly ever get to read books not related to school anymore. So I figured, one book a month would be doable. (Given all the schoolwork and my knack for procrastination and constant need to sleep.) And it really is, as long as you constantly remind yourself and make an effort to do so.
I just finished my eleventh book last Friday, Sputnik Sweetheart by Haruki Murakami. Currently started reading my twelfth one last night, which is Eleanor Rigby by Douglas Coupland.
I’m probably going to finish it by the end of July, so might as well aim for more, right? Ten books in five months.. I think I can manage. :) (Well, I hope I can.)
