live in NYC
the only City in my mind. 3 years ago

Born in Midtown, living currently in Midtown, and will probably die here in Manhattan. i love it and wouldn’t trade it for the world. There are so many things going on and experiences available that you can’t get anywhere else. Sure, it’s easy to get jaded, but that’s nothing a short vacation can’t fix. Because once you’re away for more than a few days, you start to miss it all. It’s inexplicable and an experience i recommend for everybody at least once in their lives! Although, if you’re not someone who likes to spend a lot of time by him or herself, i recommend living here with a friend or two since it’s easy to get caught up in the solitary lifestyle.

love the post!

I want to move to NYC in a few years. Can anyone help me in figuring out what goals I need to set? How far ahead should I begin making plans? Most importantly, what part of Manhattan do I want to live in???? Please help me!!!

If no one responds to your question...

I have never lived in the city, but plan to in the next year or two. I would also like to live in Manhattan or within a short public transpo ride. I began studying the different neighborhoods on wikipedia.com of all places. It’s a place to start. They have a description of all the neighborhoods, where they begin and end, how dangerous or prestigious they are, what the ethnic make-up is like, how expensive the real estate is, ect. Lemme know how you make out!
