make a mosic table top for an old sewing maching base I have. (read all 3 entries…)
Till later.. 3 years ago

it’s just a matter of time.

I am crunched for the time to do this. I will keep playing with the design, then by the time I have the time.. {okay that sounded weird} I will be able to just get done quick.

This is only put off

I looked for my base for such a long time. My uncle who is more like a dad than an uncle, found it for me. When I went to pay for it, he had bought it as a surprise.

No, just put off..
NOW that I have moved and unpacked everything, I have found all the things I’ve collected for this purpose.

I have tons of broken china and just pretty pattern plates..

When I was packing to move to Tx. I had a huge stack of my favorite plates about a foot high sitting on the counter. True to my weekly deal I was up way way past 24 hours, it was my first and only day off {night}. Well I suppose I had just sat them wrong on the counter, next thing I knew I had a broken mess on the floor..

Instead of crying, I gathered it all up and save the prettiest parts, perfect for a table top.

I want to put seaglass in it to.. I see it being a collective visual of my life. {hopefully it borders the artistic rather than the messy}

I do have a plan to have it finished by January. I have the design..
Just time.. Which I don’t have much of lately.

Do you find that when you can’t do your art. Okay stepping out on a limb.. I am not an artist.. But, I find when I can’t draw or write or create with my hands, I become somewhat an emotional wreck…

It is my solace.

Good for you, Serenity!

Thanks Tay.

I can’t wait till I have the time to actually put it together and see how it turns out.
