I can be very critical at times toward what I belive to be others faults. But I do it to cover my own insecurities. I don’t want to admit that I am guilty of the same stuff I talk about others for. I know I’m not perfect but to me it hides that fact even though I know I shouldn’t do it. I wouldn’t want people sayind the same stuff about me taht I’ve said about them even though they probably have.
Finding faults

I cheer your honesty and your self-confrontation
and your wisdom at a young age. To know that you ” do it to cover (your)own insecurities” is no small thing.
Nobody is “perfect” and we would probably be justified in disliking them if they were. That you can recognize shortcomings in others as being those you possess means everyone is in the same boat and you neither have to hide nor put others down.
And as all the world’s great religions say in one way or another … it’s a good idea to treat other’s as you would like to be treated.
I hope these rambly thoughts are helpful.
