I did a half marathon this past weekend…woo!! It turned out surprisingly well, I am almost recovered from it now :) They had a lot of bands, that really helped make the miles go by quicker. And I beat my old time by 9 minutes…if I can just do that every time, then I”ll be a speedster in no time. ;)
That half is kind of pushing me to try another one. Especially when I see my place and it is something like 2000 or 4000th… (is there really a difference?) and I think that I’m young…I’m healthy…I should be in better shape and do it even faster. So I really want to start focussing on the speed workouts so I can cut like 30 more minutes at some point. I’m looking at a half in January, I”ll see what I can do by then…
