We bought a house from the Amish. All the moderninities have been removed, and so we have to put some money into updating the house, but at last, we are working towards many of the goals I have: living simply, living on land that I feel connected to in a spiritual sense, and living among the Amish. We may not share the same view of the divine, but we certainly share an understanding of the need for a better way to live in this current cultural climate.
