make a list of the books i want to read, and then actually read them (read all 39 entries…)

COnfessions of an All night runner… by Dean Karnazes.

I absoloutely LOVE this book. It was very easy to read (A feat as Karnazes is an endurance athlete, and financier, not writer)

It is actually inspiring, I am totally not inspired to run 100 miles without stopping, but, I am definitely more excited about running!!!

and it came to me autographed which made me laugh!

I’m thinking actually about emailing Karnazes to see if he might be interested in running the Blue Ridge relay as a one man show. 208 miles. I’m hoping to participate in it as a relay.

Comments:

Dean, the machine...

...isn’t he the dude running 50 marathons in 50 consecutive days?

Insane but inspirational, indeed.

There was a write up on him in last month’s Runner’s World and he seems very driven and a bit eccentric. Something about him wanting to swim with sharks or something, too.

yes thats

him.
He’s in RI today…chilly!

I’m excited that my super secret running goal coincides with his last Marathon…He is insane.

he's a freak

but in a good way.

I wish I could do things like he does…
maybe someday.
