Methinks I should put owning a lawn before this. Or maybe find someone who wants to rent out their lawn? Or maybe I could just adopt a gnome somewhere?

gnome
You have to provide some sort of natural light for them also. And do not take gnomes that are already at home in someones yard (trust me on this one).
You must take them to the park at least once a week.
I have tried to research this and there is not a specific site on gnome care. I think we should start one….
Tips on gnome care -
They can survive indoors with natural light and some outdoor exposure at least once a week.
They will eat you out of house and home, so keep a lock on the fridge.
They are in dire need of being adopted. The gnome orhpan list grows daily, please have your gnome spayed or neutered.
They require little or no bathing.
They liked to be rubbed on the forehead and back..(don’t ask me how I know this)
They like to be whispered to, seems those little ears are quite alert. No shouting around the gnomes please.
Please feel free to add any tips.
A small indoor lawn
Thanks for all the tips. Maybe I’ll just buy some of those lawn squares they sell at landscaping stores, put it in a box and stand the gnome(s) in there.
A gnome care site is an excellent idea!
Or hide them
I sometimes hide the tools. They make too much racket at night. Oh yea gnomes do not sleep. Nope, they don’t need one wink of shut eye. So you have been warned.
And do remember, no pinching, only rubbing.
Hey!
If you really want to adopt one of us, by all means do it. We’re really short of welcoming homes.
BUT you can’t have a lawn gnome if you don’t have a lawn. What’s wrong with you humans? Can’t you read your own words? Lawn gnome, for SnowWhite’s sake! We would be unhappy and might even cry ourselves to death. Surely you don’t want that?
I hope you’ll keep us posted.
hey
gnomes can’t type…OH WAIT! Mine lied to me…now I get it. YOU CAN type. Gosh you guys are fiesty little critters. Yes lawn gnomes must have lawn but with all this breeding that has been done over the last 10 years, we now have ‘indoor’ gnomes. They are more domesticated than lawn gnomes, you just have to know the difference….
This was such a fun topic...
Where have all the gnomes gone…sigh
a roaming gnome is a happy gnome
we gnomes don’t need anything in particular in terms of living situations. all we ask is that you take us on vacation from time to time. even if it’s just to the grocery store :)
