I started a 3 day apple fast yeasterday to help get me back on track. I have done this before. It is a very good short cleansing fast, the great thing about it is that it’s a fast but you still eat.
Although it gets quite boring eating the same things it is also quite liberating in the sense that you don’t have to worry about what you are going to make to eat for 3 days.
You eat nothing but organic apples for 3 days, you need to drink a lot of water because apples soak up water due to their fibre content. You can also drink organic apple juice.
To break the fast you drink orange juice on the morning of the 4th day and 2 tablespoons of good cold pressed oil like olive oil, I prefer flaxseed oil though (which I normally take everyday anyway)
If you are going to do this it is best to buy a book about it or do lots of research.
This will hopefully help to push me back to 100% Raw. I want to rid myself of these horrible emotional attachments I have to food that is so bad for me.
