Good luck

Support is out there if you need it :) I don’t know how interested you are in this goal now but meal planning is a really good idea. Loads of times I go to look at what food I have in and I stare at it and my mind just draws a blank. If I plan what meals to cook though it makes a big difference and is really simple and easy to do.

Anyway, just something that’s worked for me :)

Also, some people find it helpful to start being a vegan “at home” and then branch it out into the rest of the world when you’re ready.

Just some ideas anyway if you’re still interested :)

You can get support

You can get support from an online community, or join and organization where you might meet other vegans that can help you. EarthSave is a good one, and lots of times they’ll have local vegan potlucks which will help you with food ideas. There are also tons of vegan food blogs online. If you stick to recipes you eat regularly, you can make simply ommissions/substitutions and it won’t be such a big shift for you. For example, tacos, enchiladas, etc. Just leave out the cheese and use beans or faux-burger crumbles and make the rest like you regularly like it. Once you get used to that, its not as hard as you think!
Good luck!
