There are no hard and fast rules about what we should be doing at any one point in life. Sure, the majority of people do things during certain “periods” of their life, but you are not the majority.
How many people who have the nice house and family look at your life, in Paris, with envy? How many corporate ladder climbers with they had done something else – become a pastry chef, fitness instructor, whatever…
Somewhere I am going to have to find a better example, but I alway think of Anna Mae Bullock (Tina Turner) who was pretty much just a memory until she reinvented herself with the help of Roger Davies and became the Queen of Rock and Roll at age 45.
There has to be a male example that doesn’t involve drugs, alcohol, or prison. Anyone?
Anyhow, your life is your life, making the most of YOUR life is what you are to do. How many of those people who seem secure and stable are just doing what they are doing because everyone else is.
