Rails is definitely a ton of fun. I have mostly been using it to brush up on and get immediate output from Ruby in a browser window and so far, so good. Adding scaffolding to get a database app up and running in 15 minutes is super cool. Pulling down the scaffolding and replacing it with real code is currently a big leap from having the “magic” do the dirty work for you.
