be courageous as often as possible (read all 3 entries…)
biopsy 2 years ago

Recently I went to a dermatologist to have my skin examined. Within five minutes of meeting the doctor, he was suggesting a that we do two biopsies to get to the bottom of what was wrong. The technicians left me alone to get their tools for the stitches and I almost fell apart. Then I reminded myself: I’ve done hard things. I can do this. It helped! I was proud of myself for holding it together instead of going all soft that day. I get the results today.

It ended up that the doctor was able to diagnose what I had really well and I haven’t had any reoccurance of it. Thanks for the kind words :)
