This is so worth it. Simple rule for buying your first art. Is the artist local and do you have a chance to meet him/her. If yes, buy. If no, keep looking. Don’t be afraid to ask if you can meet the artist. Often you will like their style, but not that particular piece…and who knows why they might have in storage for a great price.
