Flickr is somewhat hard to figure out so I posted a “how to” on one of my wiki’s that is dedicated to teaching people how to do wiki stuff. (www.wikihow.pbwiki.com)
Now that I know how easy it is I have started using flickr for my wiki pages and just linking. Even whole photo slideshows can be linked. They have to be public if you want to share them, or the people you share them with have to be on your contact list, or know the password.
