I’m very happy to announce that I’ve started taking an portrait painting class at the art centre in my neighbourhood on mondays. Truth be told, it’s not the most challenging class, and I’m, by far, the youngest in the small group, but I am going through charcoal and soft pastels like nobody’s business. I’ve even been complimented on the quality of my pastels. :) But, obviously, the point is that I’m painting again, and getting some recognition for my talent, which is very satisfying.
