fishbone  — 3 years ago

the other night, a fishbone got stuck in my throat and i did everything i could—and i mean everything (can’t outline them all or you’d be grossed out too ;) anyway, i didnt want to go to the hospital for something as minute as a fishbone, so who did i end up with? the greatest physician of all… God. i prayed to Him and it was all worth it. God heard me and comforted me as i looked out the window whimpering. i definitely want to spend every single day with Him, just to u know, “hang out.” God is indescribably cool.

That reminds me of when I choked on some frosted mini wheats. (the cereal).. I paniced, prayed, etc.. then just like that, I got it unstuck.. God is good!

i think that we go through similar situations and get the same kind of results in diff forms so we’d realise that it’s really God who’s at work… i know exactly what u felt about the mini wheats, believe me, i swallowed 4 bananas that night but nothing happened till i got down on my knees and prayed!
anyway, i’m glad there are still ppl like u :)

Sometimes you have to do something too. Sometimes, people pray and ask God for something, and he makes a way for it to happen, but we’re so busy feeling sorry about our situation that we don’t see the door he’s opened…
And sometimes it’s just not his will. He knows best! Maybe there’s a reason you’re still in Scotland? Maybe you’re influencing someone/something you’re not even aware of!

Praise God!

Wow! A friend of mine has a similar fishbone deliverance testimony to yours. It’s funny, looking back at it, but at the time I’m sure it was a matter of life and death. So thank God for hearing us. Kinda reminds me of the time when I was chocking on some meat.. I could have died but God saved me! Lol!
