Stop spending money like a drunken Kennedy (read all 5 entries…)
oh bloody hell... 3 years ago

my car is on the outs again! The beater has some sort of hole in it and the mechanic I was going to told me he couldn’t figure out where water was getting in. Water kept accumulating on my driver side floor… now the drivers seat is moving around a bit. It appears to have corrosion underneath and broken a bolt to the seat! Pffft, it’s probably corroded the floor board so badly that the bloody thing is about to bust apart.
I hate to say it but perhaps it’s time for a new car! This ones really starting to irritate me and I just spent 500 on it since the summer.

I could get something new now but I wanted this one to last until Mark moves over because it’s all paid off. Then, Mark and I could purchase something really nice together and both have a say in what we choose. Well, I’ll call another mechanic and see if he’d be willing to touch it. I won’t continue to drive it if they can’t make it safe.

lol, I suppose not...

I’m cheap though and this car is really getting on my nerves! I feel like I’m spending carelessly on it as it’s not really worth fixing. I could stop being cheap and invest my money into a reliable new car.

Btw, it is STILL leaking. Some mysterious leak that I’ve paid a couple mechanics a few times to look at! I’ve just resorted to driving with my pant legs rolled up! Anything to make this car last until Mark arrives.

nah, car is still good...

I’m running beater right into the ground :-P

It wouldn’t do me any good to try to trade it in as it was deemed totaled when some crazy middle-aged pot head tried to pass me on a double solid line while I was making a left hand turn! The car was buggered and deemed totaled by the guy’s insurance company as they were paying for all my damages. But, I had a mechanic fix it up for me with junk yard parts so I could keep it instead of buying a new car from those vultures at the dealerships! That was January of 2006… and the POS car has been giving me problems ever since! I think it wants to retire to a junk yard itself, lol. But, when I do get rid of it I’ll make sure it goes out in style… Demolition Derby!!!

Cheers,
Sissy
