I want to gain more control over the voice and tone that I use – rather then everything I write sounding accidentally similar. A few interesting things to say would also be nice.

i would cheer this, but i am out of them. this is a great goal, but i wouldn’t worry to much about things sounding similar. it will become part of your style and people will know you for it.
