being certain of what you believe, of what you hope for, of things unseen… for me faith is knowing that through Jesus Christ I am saved through his grace alone, and have eternal life with him.

just a couple of my own thoughts on it… and by NO means a full answer for such a huge question…

i believe that there is God.. And it takes no ‘belief’ in my opinion for Him to exist. Because HE exists wether we believe it or not. TIME is like that too…. time continues to go forward wether we believe it or not, we cannot grasp it. we cannot stop it… we cannot touch it, or see it. Yet time ticks on by … it exists wether we believe it does or not.

i believe there are MANY answers for this… scholars probably have tons and tons of answers for EVERYONE, but for each individual it is something that we as individuals must seek for ourselves and find.

faith is what shapes your life. or it has mine. it changes how you handle a stiaution. it changes how you live your life. While others may fret over never having enough… i know that my God will provide all i need when i need it.

while chaos surrounds this world … with wars and violence everywhere… somehow my peace comes from within. a peace that only GOD can give.

i also have a hope and a future because God has it all in control. i can look positively ahead and know that it will be good. ..... because of who God is.

i didn’t do anything to deserve or not deserve any of that (peace, provision, a hope and a future) it just simply is because of WHO HE IS.

Religion will alwyas have hoops for you to jump through …. don’t buy it. what God has for all… is actually free.
