get out of las vegas
But you always will go back... 4 years ago

It took me 27 years of being in the Sin City to move. I came to Washington D.C. only to appriciate the west a lot more. For instance, you can go to a 7-11 that sells gas AND is open all night, banks are open on Saturday, there is a lake without snakes in it, you can buy alcohol if you want, you can even check out the scary people in the middle of the night at Wal Mart because they are OPEN! And if you do go away everyone will assume you were a drunk gambleaholic or a stripper or both, and they will not believe that you actually might not have worked in a casino or were a titty dancer and that Vegas actually goes out further than the Strip! For me it will always be Vegas Baby, Vegas! Besides where else in this country can a mob lawyer become Mayor and endorse Gin??

Totally agree!

“Besides where else in this country can a mob lawyer become Mayor and endorse Gin?”

That’s why, as much as i HATE how the real estate prices have inflated well beyond the local pay scale, i just can’t seem to find it in me to move away.

Absolutely

I love living here. I think it would be awesome to see/live in other places aside from LV, I think it will always be my home. It’s embedded in me. It’s crazy and seedy and sprawling and glorious, and we have a mob guy for a mayor. We’re completely unique, and I’m proud of us as a city, as nuts as everything is.
