We’ll see if I can get a career relating to archaeology :)
Comments:
Stick with it.
When I was in high school I thought I wanted to be a teacher (that is until my teacher and mentor told me how much he made after 30yrs of teaching.) Went off to college and decided to study Finance/Business so I could make lots of money. I did very well but I was miserable every second of everyday while dealing with work related stuff. I finally quit so I could teach. Guess what? The partner in the firm offered me a sick amount of money to stay on. A year after I decided to accept the offer and another year of being miserable I left for good. I have been teaching since Sept 2006 and have never been happier in my life. I make a fraction of what I was making but I love what I do. Take it from somebody who sold out (well initially anyway.) If you like archaeology work hard to find something in that field. Don’t settle.
