I didn’t realise that there were any Americans who actually did think that way. I have to be honest if I had to live anywhere it would so not be the USA. It just seems to us on the rest of the planet that if you don’t agree with the flag waving lot then you are labelled some kind of freakish communist subvert.

I don’t think you sound anti-American. I think you sound like you love your country and the values it was built on, not the twisted vlues it has gained under ‘Dubya’. As Michael Moore said so well yours is a nation built on fear. I cannot imagine knowing anyone who owns a gun, let alone having a family memeber or friend murdered.

You are right about most of the world hating America, unfortunately, but on the plus side I think it is more about Bush and his government than the people of the once admirable country.I think most people feel sorry for the American people, which I suppose is not very nice either is it?

your so right. I’ve felt the same as you for so long. I’ve lost friends that were flag wavers. But I guess they really were’nt my friends. I’m happy to see that I’m not the only person that believes America ( Bush ) is actually wrong about a lot of things.
