They say an average novel is 80,000 words. I have 10,800 words right now, and increasing weekly. The plan is to do 7,500 words a month. I did that in October, and I’m on the way to doing the same in November. By the end of next summer, August, I should have the entire rough draft finished and can begin editing and revising.
