Manage my money better (read all 6 entries…)
Beginning to scale back 2 years ago

I just cancelled my cable internet service at home, which will save me about $45 a month. I’ve been dipping into my savings almost every month and just can’t afford it right now—I’ll have to scout out some places with free wifi on the weekends and be content with checking my email during lunch during the week.

Don’t forget the library as an internet resource! Back when I lived in the city in ‘03, I used the library to go online almost every day!

Thanks

This is a great suggestion, especially since I work like a block from the library so you would think that I would visit it tons for the free internet, free books etc…
Nope, I’m a total cafe girl. I like to drink my coffee and eat my scones while browsing on the internet.
However, given my current lack of finances—I’ll have to try hitting the library more.

Starbucks and Kinkos usually have free wifi – just dont let it intice you into buying stuff. The Library sounds great though!
