wake up when my alarm clock goes off

my 'wake-up call'  — 3 years ago

for some reason, this has been an ongoing problem to me. how many alarm clocks have i smashed, and how many ppl have dared to wake me up only to run away scared out of their wits? sigh.

Comments:

What isn't worth getting up for?

Or better still: What IS worth getting up for? Put THAT (or a reminder of it) beside your bed – just out of reach, of course – and see if it changes your attitude to getting out of bed.

Perhaps your dreams are better than your reality. This is actually one of the definitions of adulthood (for kids it’s the other way around). If so, get a wee journal and write your dreams down so you can remember them and take them with you during the day. You might even think to analyse them, to figure out what they’re trying to tell you. Or what you’re trying to tell yourself; our dreams are like personal letters written by our subconscious to our conscious. Not writing them down is like ripping up and throwing away the most intimate confessions from someone who loves us dearly – ourselves.
