I’m dating a Nigerian guy and I have no idea how to cook Nigerian food. Back in the day this would not have been a concern, but I want to be able to fit in and I’m starting to actually care about being a “good wife” (but not a Stepford wife!” in the future.

its all about spices. let him also see you’re trying hard – he’ll be a bit forgiving if it goes wrong
