I think we can take several approaches to this. some ideas:
-join a group already working towards this
-encourage the governments involved to set up refuges,or national parks
-stop buying the crops that come off the deforested land
-stop buying the wood that is harvested in these areas
-raise awareness, publish a paper about it
-make a documentary about it
-make a smaller ecological footprint
anyone have any other ideas?
