God its just beautiful. I’m a programmer by trade and always thought I needed to stay on Windows to be relevant, but that is so not true, especially now that everything is web (and frankly OS X is better for web development because its Unix like 99% of the web anyways.)

Gone are the days of getting programs to tweak Windows settings to get it to look and feel more like Mac. Gone is the BlueScreenOfDeath. Gone are the days of running an emulator under windows just to be able to GREP and AWK!

At $2500 after tax and with the 3-year AppleCare service plan, the iMac is several price points above similar Wintel products, but the premium is just worth it—actually given the time savings and enjoyment, I think its less expensive in the long run.

I’m so frickin happy.
