I just saw River Wild again, and I’m all pumped up.

My family used to whitewater canoe when I was a kid, and I loved it. I’ve done ocean kayaking, etc, and it was so much fun.

I need a physical challenge to get ready for, and the Kern River is calling. It needs to happen this year.

No!

Not yet. But I still want to. I think I have to wait for spring for Kernville to have rafting. It’s pretty dry in SoCal. But it’s only about 2 1/2 hours from where I live, so…

Sheesh. It’s hard to find the time, and my spousal unit is not so much into it. I need to organize a group of women friends to go up and rock that river!
