These monsters steal so much of my time, attention and zest, that I can hardly tear myself away and go back to my own work, which is making art, after all. I tried limiting time spent managing my pool on Flickr to an hour a day, but I always manage to persuade myself to push the limit back whenever I feel like. Deviant Art is worse since it offers no satisfaction: browsing through its endless galleries of low quality anime and goth shit is like a torture. Wish I could turn off the internet, but the confound thing is wireless and self-tuning ;-)
