no one ever realizes you have to condition your leather furniture with leather lotion… i’m allergic to it so it was even more fun (heavily dripping with sarcasm). It is a comfy set but it isn’t cozy… cozy is nicer when it comes to furniture. Of course if you like a sleek clean ‘look at my dead cow skin’ furniture look, leather is a good choice. Oh and if you have a slave to rub it down with its lotion it would be even better.

Oh oh, what's in that lotion?
The whole reason I’m supposed to get the leather sofa is that dustmites are better able to live in fabric upholstery, and my dust mite allergy makes me all wheezy. If I’m allergic to the leather lotion, too, then there’s no point to getting the sofa. I’ll take wheezing over a full body rash.
What type of lotion did you use? Maybe I should go to the store and allergy test myself with different types…
ooops
i forgot the brand since it was so long ago (i bought the furniture 5 years ago) it was a leather cleaner and ‘conditioner’ though and i liken it to lotion since that was the consistancy. I wouldn’t have a clue as to what was in it that made my hands burn like the dickens. but my body is weird… lysol cleanser makes my nose run and polymer clays burn my skin if i play with them.
hopefully you won’t have the same problem with the leather conditioners/cleaners
bugeaters is dreaming about flyfishing...
i'd rather be doing other things ....
Leather is so much more upkeep than cloth. If you have kids, just say no to leather.
