Learn to play the digeridoo (read all 2 entries…)
Did it! 3 years ago

Just for the heck of it, my husband and I took didgeridoo lessons today at the yoga place. It was a great learning experience, and a lot of fun. We took them from Phil Jones, who has recorded a lot of didgeridoo music, and teaches all over the country. If you can find a lesson somewhere around you, I suggest you go! It’s easy, fun, and very relaxing.

wow!

i tried in primary school and it was so hard, i couldn’t for the life of me get the circular breathing. i am impressed by anyone who can do it.

Anyone?

Anyone have good sound advice on how in the heck to learn circular breathing? It seems so counter-intuitive, but we all know that it can be done, hence digeridoo players! I’ve made the sounds, which is hard enough, but cannot go for more than 10 seconds!

Xavier Rudd is a fabulous musician

who plays several didgeridoos as well as the drums and several other instruments at the same time. He is the most incredible one man band and unbelievable didgi player…
I have seen him live twice and would love to see him again. Check him out:
