Sorry. I guess it wasn’t clear. Still getting used to this format. If you cross check with my goals, it is to start a directory of published sources for ancient texts, based on the inventory numbers of the texts themselves.

A wiki is a step in the right direction, and the wikipedia software is going to be probably helpful.

But you want to take a look at technologies like RDF, and how RDF can be used with wiki, to extract and publish meaningful biblographic data.

It’s too hard to explain in a quick post, suffice to say you organise information in “webs” with links rather than in a category – the same idea behind a wiki, but with raw data.

I can answer further questions if you can be a bit more specific about how RDF / Wiki tech could apply to you.

Well, a big part of my goal was that this task is DAUNTING for an individual. You’ll need multiple user access, but it would be useful to limit that access to “useful” users.

I’ll look at RDF this weekend.
