I just bought the anime series Samurai 7. Not sure when I will get to it, but eventually i will!

I think you will love it, the characters are great and I especially loved the little girl from the village who writes in her diary about the events that take place. I also love the music..(You can find it on http://gendou.com and download for free.)The series was wonderful..and I hope those who made it will do another anime..they were incredibly talented. Honto ni!!
**Just a side note, not sure if you know this, but the film THE HIDDEN FORTRESS inspired George Lucas to do Star Wars. The basic idea for that story came from Akira Kurosawa’s film. Lucas also said had Toshiro Mifune been around, he probably would have been picked for the part of Obi Wan Kinobi.
