Maubee down in the boondocks

Not lose focus on my "healthy eating plan" even for a day.
This is too specific a goal for me... 3 years ago

I’m finding this actually discourages me, probably because if I lose focus for EVEN one day I’ve failed. I need a goal worded differently. I need something more specific than ‘eat healthier’, but worded positively to encourage me and allow a little room to mess up once in a while.

I’m dropping this goal.

Have you heard of planned cheat days?

I wrote about an idea that might help you in my get in shape goal, somewhere.

I agree, that’s a tough test you have set yourself! :-)

Just journal

Most have found that if they simply journal what they eat (“if you bite it, write it”) that the rest will take care of itself.

The trick, I think, is to eat with awareness. If you make your eating intentional, then you will drive your body towards eating what it needs, and away from emotional eating or other unhealthy habits.
