From an artistic point of view I love the flow and depth of Kanji….......it’s beautiful to look at as more than just handwriting. I would love to master it so I could express myself through that art form also.

Languages have never been my forte’, but I really have a desire to learn it so hopefully that will help me retain all that I need to.

The mysterious Kanji

I can relate to your thoughts about this, since I started learning Japanese after I saw Kanji writing in some movie several years ago. In retrospect, Chinese would have been the more obvious choice with these reasons, but what’s done is done. ;)
