Although my sales in November ranked third, they were the third worst monthly total I’ve had all year. Deals I had hoped would come through by Thanksgiving got pushed back to December, so I am looking at a potentially strong month to end the year, and so is everyone else on the sales team. As it stands, I’m still solidly in second. Our top guy widened the gap with a huge deal that makes it all but impossible to catch up with him by December 31. I’ve therefore modified the name of the goal to include the year. It’s most likely I will finish up in the number two spot in 2006. I’ll reinstate the goal for 2007 and give it another go.
