This seems to be a constant goal for me.. when I think I have given up… I find more new and interesting places to explore here in Las Vegas. For the Thanksgiving week we went to the Valley of Fire and Mt. Charleston here in Las Vegas. If you are ever in the area – they both offer some excellent hikes.

We hikes for days straight it seemed, and by the time our unTurkey day was over – we had racked up 7 miles! Not too bad for me being out of shape with a 6 year old in tow! It was so much fun!
