my husband’s in the military, I guess he shoots enough guns for both of us. Hah.
My next goal will be: shoot two guns and figure out how Brandon Lee can do that and look so cool.

Hey, I don’t want to be rude, but I think if Brandon Lee had the luxury of being able to comment here, he’d have a thing or two to say about guns.
They cost him his life, after all. I was a big “Crow I” fan myself, but I find seeing him as an advocate for firing a gun (or two) rather odd.

Carolin, your post should read “could do that”. He certainly can’t do it any more. Because of guns.

Go for the Desert Eagle
Learning to shoot safely and competently is a good goal. Our whole family, including kids, enjoy the shooting sports. Yes, it is “awesome and exciting”, but it carries a huge responsibility too.
That being said, my husband is a (not currently active duty) US Marine. If you can get your husband to bring you to the range and if you can get a hold of a Desert Eagle, if you only shoot a gun once in your life, THAT should be the one. The only problem is, after you all shoot that one, HE will want to own one of his very own (assuming he doesn’t already have one).
