Well first of all it is my job to say Hi to strangers everyday, second of all I’ve gotten in the habit of smiling at people who make eye contact and often saying hi bec it is the norm on my campus. Besides, if you are nervous, just think of it this way; it only lasts a second, then it’s over. Chances are they won’t think you’re crazy. You may have brightened up their day!!
