My sister has a teddy bear she named Bluey Whitey (for obvious reasons). She’s had it for about as long as I can remember.

In 10 days I’m going away to Germany. My sister is going to give me a lift to the bus station to catch my coach to the airport.

This is my (as usual) long-winded (and bracketed) way of saying that I’ll be staying at her house the night before she drops me off, which is my perfect opportunity to steal Bluey Whitey and take him to Germany with me. ;)

It might take some co-operation from her boyfriend, as well as some good luck, but I’ll try it :D

I can steal him for… She might be quite upset that it’s gone. It’s a bit more personal than some old garden gnome. ;)

I’ll see how she reacts to it going to Germany before I ship him off to another continent by himself.

He’s the intrepid explorer of the stuffed bear world. :D

I don’t have a Bluey Whitey or anything like him – I think.
But if I did and someone kidnaped him, I would probably be worried.

Well, if everything goes well with the Germanic experience, my house is open for him. :)

I really think I might need her boyfriend to get it for me though. I don’t want to intrude on their room. Not when she’s being so kind. Plus, how would I explain it if they caught me?

You could go to the emocional side and tell her that you’ll miss her terribly, so you are taking a souviner with you. She’ll be so happy with you and your feelings that she’ll forget about the kidnaping the teddy part.

Or you could pretend you are a sleepwalker.

If all goes wrong fake a seizure.

It works everytime.
