pull a prank involving 100 lawn gnomes
lawn gnome convention 4 years ago

Friends and I stole lawn gnomes around our town. A week later, when we had enough gnomes, we set them up a lawn gnome gathering in a park during the night. Police found them the next day and returned them to the owners. (we taped the addresses where we got each gnome to the bottoms of their feet) A picture of the gnomes and all the police reports of missing gnomes were in the newspaper the next day.

i lived in texas for a while…whichita falls…i didnt like it too much. it was kinda scary. someone prabably would shoot you. but there were lawn gnomes there. just go to the nicer neighbor hoods.

Did you guys see Lost last night? Hurley stole a bunch of lawn gnomes and used them to spell out “Cluck You” on his generic KFC boss’ lawn. Hee.

unfortunately no. since it was mostly at night…and since we were just young stupid kids, we didnt even think of taking a picture. we just did it to be funny. sorry. i really wish i had one for the records. :-(

GENUIS!!i wanted to do something like that but wasnt sure what, and the taping of addresses – excellent!! i always knew that if i pulled a similar prank that i would want to return them in the same condition and so i would have to put addresses with the gnomes. unfortunately there arent so many gnomes in the area…and im not sure where to leave them. some youths go to the park sometimes and i dont want stuff getting destroyed…but right before a football match might be ok though as parents would be there. hmm 1 problem solved. you are an inspiration to us al!! MWAH!
