I know some people have seen it, and I hear some parts of Mexico and possiblY Thailand, it doesn’t really come out in photos, so does it really happen??
Comments:
maybe...maybe not...
when i was little my dad used to tell me stories bout when he saw the green flash, however, he was one to exaggerate…so who really knows. kind of like moonbows, except maybe they are a little more certain
here’s another picture of a moonbow, its an artist’s impression, so not real, but it is very beautiful

Niel is planning a trip to Florida in February. Who wants to be visited?
The green flash exist
It’s a bit difficult to photograph, so you don’t see pictures of it often. If you want to see it, you need to be higher than the horizon on a clear day at sunset. If you’re on a hill at sunset near the sea it’ll be perfect. I saw my first/only green flash over Lake Travis in Texas, drinking a margahrita.
Google to find photos
Scientific opinion on its existence was pretty skeptical until someone took a photo of it. There are links to some here: http://mintaka.sdsu.edu/GF/pictures.html.
I saw it while driving west out of Monument Valley. I’d heard about it but didn’t know if it was real or not, so it kind of freaked me out a little. The friend I was with was napping at the time, so couldn’t confirm it. I was relieved later to find that it’s pretty much accepted as a real phenomenon.
