Do you know this one?
“But little mouse, don’t you know that big, hungry…”
bear LOVES
red, ripe, strawberries!

That's the one!
I love that book, it’s so fun to read. I teach preschool, too. :)
Aaaawww, that's cool!
I actually just quit after 13 years, but it will always be my first love. (children)

Same here
I never intended to become a preschool teacher, it just happened that way. I have a degree in computers and business, but because I love kids, I had enough elective courses in college to qualify as a preschool teacher.
I’m just substituting part time, since my kids are still young. When I need something with more hours and better pay, I will probably move into something at the school district, so I can keep working with kids.
How about this one? “Whee said D to…”
It's on my list
of classics that I MUST read someday. Hmmmm..I need to go to the library…
I missed those too.
But I did read and enjoy the following:
The Odyssey
Brave New World
1984
Animal Farm
The Hobbit
Ummm, I know there were more, but I have to think…
oh yeah, here's a great one:
Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe
A couple more (I just got my memory back):
Lord of the Flies
The Catcher In the Rye
Black Boy
Wuthering Heights
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
The Crucible
Great Expectations
Don’t think I could memorize any of those, but maybe a few passages.
I would have to memorize something real short.
I think I only could memorize a short story. Maybe a Dr. Seuss book. I might try this.
