I used to do water colours ( Aquarell colours by Lukas, old German brand) and color pencils (Farber Castell) as well as wax crayons. Do have a box with oil crayons as well, but I am not as good with these then my Mom :(. But I actually prefer painting with “normal” water colours, just use less water, makes the paint as thick as oil colours. Used acryl as well as oil, but don’t like my results that much :) Also have a hard time finding the right paper. I might be a bit picky.
Home Depot is my “second home”, they already know me by my first name :). So many projects…. not enough time and money. My newest project is painting our office / guest room in a native american style – Southwest ???, like we have seen at the Grand Canyon / Flagstaff area. Basement is Tuscany style (vinyl tiles though – cheaper!, family room has a beach theme …. fortunately there are still so many rooms left I can play with :)
