Neon Blonde
With Electo sounds, amazing breakdowns & indie guitar riffs “Neon Blonde” manage to work their way into not only your playlist but also your head.. i find myself humming songs during the day even when ive not listened to them for a while. This band make an exelent side project for Johnny Whitney and Mark Gajadhar from The Blood Brothers. They expand upon The Blood Brothers sound while still keeping their hardcore roots. The songs have plenty of breakdowns and other traditional “Blood Brothers” sounds.

Bear Vs Shark
Building on the Fugazi meets Motown rhythms and grooves associated with with this band it would be unfair to call them just indie.. or just alternative. This band have a knack of making songs which make you bop your head and tap your feet before you even realise what you are doing. Each track oozes originality, intense passion and talent. Unfortunately by the end of 2005, only months after the release of their second record ‘Terrorhawk’, the band broke up. Despite this the band are more than worth listening to. An esential for anyone.
