I used to be very shy during discussions, and felt like the boys in class had more legitimate opinions and arguments than I ever could. I’m not sure what happened to me, but I finally feel confident enough to express myself orally. There is no reason for me to be shy, because if people do not like what I have to say, it’s their problem. In general, people like what I contribute to class. Hopefully I will be able to maintain my confidence through and past college.
