I love the medium of the musical. My grandmother sang on Broadway, it’s in my blood. Yet I have never had the resources to see plays and musicals on the famous stage (though I’ve seen some on video and on tours). I would like to see Chess, Chicago, Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, Avenue Q, Into the Woods, and Rent on Broadway; I have seen Jekyll & Hyde, Man of La Mancha, Les Misérables, Rent, Fiddler on the Roof, The Sound of Music, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Into the Woods on the stage in a non-Broadway venue, and some others on video, but there’s nothing like the real thing.
