bought ms money for 2007, am on oprah’s (free) debt diet, am re-reading suze ormans young fabulous and broke book, and got my 3 free credit reports from annualcreditreport.com today…it was nice being able to see how much TOTAL debt i have b/t car, student loans, and credit cards- it’s a lot, but its less than i actually thought i had, so that’s good…... so hopefully i am on my way to being in control of my finances! also i called my credit card agency today and found out i’m paying 30% interest on my credit card!!! just cuz i went over on it once (even though i paid it down immediately, they still bumped it up considerably…..be careful, learn from my mistake!!) ....talked to a person in march (after 6 months of the time i went over), it’ll go back down to 19.24%, which still isn’t great, but hey, it’s better than 30!!
